The agency classified the action as a Class I recall, which indicates a reasonable probability that continued exposure to the product will cause severe political apathy. The recall affects all units produced since the 2022 election cycle. Regulators initiated the recall after Rhode Island consumers reported that the McKee model had completely ceased functioning when challenged by the Helena Foulkes upgrade package.
