FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Buffalo rap icon Westside Gunn announces new album Heelmatic today. The record marks his most ambitious project to date. He recorded the lead single “Zilla” on location at the Great Pyramid of Giza. Gunn reportedly delivered his entire vocal performance while riding an Arabian camel.
An Unprecedented Fusion Of Luxury And Boom-Bap
Griselda Records promises an unparalleled audio experience for hip-hop purists. The project features executive production from The Alchemist and Daringer. Each track contains over forty high-pitched ad-libs per minute. Gunn wore three vintage wrestling championship belts during the vocal tracking sessions.
"We are thrilled to leverage organic synergy for this release," said Marcus Bellweather, Senior VP of Playlist Emotional Intelligence at Spotify. "The Westside Gunn announces new album Heelmatic narrative aligns perfectly with our curated luxury-streetwear listening profiles. Camels test extremely well with high-income rap enthusiasts."
Visual Artistry Meets Ancient Wonders
The music video for "Zilla" cost an estimated two million dollars. Local authorities briefly halted production when Gunn tried to drape an oversized Balenciaga trench coat over the Sphinx. The rapper defended the action as pure art. He insisted the ancient monument needed more high-fashion representation.
"Ayo!" screamed Gunn from the camel saddle during a press conference. "Nobody in the history of rap has ever spit luxury bars in front of a pharaoh's tomb. I spent fifty thousand dollars on camel silk alone. This album makes traditional boom-bap look like cheap laundry detergent."
About Griselda Records
Founded in 2012, Griselda Records specializes in unfiltered street rap, obscure sample loops, and aggressive neck movement. The label prides itself on printing limited-edition vinyl records that sell out in three seconds to eBay scalpers. While Heelmatic purports to revolutionize modern hip-hop, the actual album consists of eight identical drum breaks, ninety minutes of ad-libbed gunshot sounds, and a seven-minute spoken word track about buying expensive leather jackets in Milan.
