SHENZHEN— Technology giant Anker shocked the consumer electronics world today by adding a vibrant, four-inch touchscreen to the charging case of its new Anker Sleepbuds. The company designed the tiny display to stream continuous social media feeds directly into users' faces as they drift off to sleep.
Optimized Cognitive Drainage
Engineers claim the bright screen helps empty the human brain. The charging case sits on a nightstand and projects short-form video content at maximum brightness. "We noticed a dangerous gap in the market," said Priya Vantablack, Chief Vibes Compliance Officer at TikTok, which partnered on the device. "People were spending up to eight hours a night completely disconnected from brand engagements. Our partnership with the Anker Sleepbuds solves this tragedy."
The device also features a 60GHz radar sensor. This sensor monitors eye movements to ensure the user never looks away from the sponsored content. If the user closes their eyes for more than four seconds, the case emits a sharp, high-pitched airhorn sound to restore focus.

Critics question the medical validity of flashing blue light during deep REM cycles. However, product developers stand by the aggressive sleep-induction technology. They believe that silence is the ultimate enemy of modern mental health.
