FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NASHVILLE—Spiritual channelers and rock revivalists Greta Van Fleet announced today the release of their highly anticipated new album, Palace for the People. The album serves as the direct followup to 2023’s Starcatcher. That previous effort peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also landed a Grammy nomination. However, band leadership confirmed the new album exists solely to pay off a binding mystical debt to ancient druids.
A Debt Beyond the Billboard Charts
The band recorded the album in a hollowed-out oak tree. They used vintage gear from the Bronze Age. The group hopes this new offering will lift the generational curse currently affecting their falsetto range. Representatives from Lava Records expressed immense, mandatory excitement for the release.
"We are thrilled to unleash this sonic tapestry," said Lucinda Okonkwo-Bright, Director of Forward-Looking Regret at Meta. "Our predictive algorithms show that 94% of listeners will experience mild auditory hallucinations of sheep-shearing. This is a massive win for our quarterly engagement metrics regarding Greta Van Fleet releases."
The Sound of Obligation
The band claims the new album features real instruments. They also utilized several cursed relics. Listeners can stream the lead single now on Spotify. Critics already call the sound "very loud" and "legally distinct from Led Zeppelin."
