BELGRADE— The Electoral Safety Commission issued a mandatory product recall for the 2023 Serbian election process on Monday following reports of widespread structural failures. Regulators determined the civic exercise presents a severe hazard to public sanity and basic democratic functions.
Hazard Description
According to safety inspectors, units manufactured under the current administration contain severe democracy defects. Affected models feature failing opposition safeguards, volatile cyberattack risks, and high concentrations of unexplained street intimidation. Prolonged exposure to the electoral climate may cause sudden headaches, exhaustion, or total loss of civic faith.
"We detected dangerous levels of institutional degradation during routine testing," said Gordon Flense, Deputy Undersecretary for Things That Were Fine Before. "The core governance components failed basic stability stress tests. We strongly urge all citizens to stop consuming this democracy immediately."
Affected Units
The recall affects all parliamentary and local ballot units deployed across the Balkan region. Serial numbers range from VUCIC-2012 through VUCIC-2023. Officials warn that third-party cyberattacks have compromised the internal wiring of the national news media, causing constant propaganda leaks.
"The entire system is short-circuiting," noted Agnes Periwinkle, Head of Audience Sedation at Live Nation, who advised international observers on crowd management. "When voters attempt to insert a standard ballot, the mechanism emits a loud buzzing sound and automatically prints a picture of the incumbent."
Remedy and Instructions
Citizens should stop using the current political system at once. Voters must return all defective ballots to government offices for a full refund in local currency. The commission recommends storing remaining civic hopes in a dry, cool environment away from television broadcasts.
At press time, federal regulators admitted the replacement democracy remains backordered due to regional supply chain delays.
