RE: Launch plan for the Turnstile Reimagined album
DATE: October 24, 2025
Team, we must prepare for the unexpected. Baltimore hardcore legends Turnstile will release their collaborative LP next week. This is not a standard remix record. This project features a highly volatile crew of contributors. We need total alignment across all departments to survive this rollout.
The Core Strategy
Our primary goal is to monetize the infinite nature of hardcore music. We have secured several strange collaborators for the Turnstile Reimagined album. These artists do not know each other. Most of them do not even like music. We expect maximum confusion in the marketplace.
"We did not want typical guest verses," said Rusty Calhoun, retired stadium acoustician and founder of Dads Against Bass. "I personally EQ'd track three to sound like a lawnmower in a suburban cul-de-sac. It is what the kids call shoegaze now. We expect it to trend on TikTok immediately."
Required Action Items
Marketing must pitch this as a spiritual awakening. Do not use the word "crossover" in any press materials. Instead, use the term "sonic convergence." If a journalist asks why there is a seven-minute bagpipe solo on the Turnstile Reimagined album, tell them it represents the limitlessness of human potential.
"The data suggests listeners want to feel confused," said Lucinda Okonkwo-Bright, Director of Forward-Looking Regret at Meta. "We optimized the tracklist using a proprietary algorithm that predicts emotional regret. It is incredibly effective."
Please delete this email immediately after reading. We cannot let the public know that we funded this entire project using leftover budget from an unreleased Nickelback acoustic album. Let us make history, or at least break even.
