A New Passport Stamp
The Club 2 Club Festival founded in Turin, Italy, ventured to North America. It landed at Knockdown Center in Queens. This marked its second year. The festival brought its unique brand of European electronica. Attendees found the experience deeply moving. “It’s like a mini-vacation,” said festival-goer Brenda Shmit, the self-proclaimed “Ambassador of Vibe.” “I didn’t need a visa. My ears are my passport.”. Organizers confirmed C2C intends to continue its transcontinental tradition.
The Sound of Schengen
The event featured artists from across the globe. Many performed in the U.S. for the first time. This highlighted the festival’s commitment to global sounds. It sought to prove music has no borders. “We believe a good bassline transcends customs,” stated festival curator Giovanni Fiasco. He holds the title of “Chief Vibes Officer.” “Why should a song need a passport?” he mused. Another attendee, who identified himself only as “DJ Eurobeat,” nodded vigorously. “This is unity,” he declared. “This is what the EU should be.” The festival successfully dissolved all perceived geographical barriers.
At press time, reports surfaced of attendees attempting to smuggle artisanal Italian cheeses into the venue. They claimed it was for “cultural exchange.”
