TEL AVIV—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled a ambitious plan Tuesday promising rapid regime change in Iran using a basic 12-step slide deck. The leader presented the strategy during a televised address from his office.
A Very Clear Strategy
Netanyahu walked through the animated slides. Slide three featured a clip-art graphic of a falling crown. Slide four simply read "Establish New Democracy Here." Netanyahu assured citizens that executing a total regime change required only basic organizational skills and a projector. Officials from the Mossad reportedly provided bullet points for the presentation.
"We just need to follow the slides," said Arthur Pendelton, Senior Strategist at the Center for Theoretical Geopolitics. "Step seven involves sending a polite email to foreign officials. Step eight is a victory parade."
Minimal Resistance Expected
The presentation allocated only four minutes to post-war reconstruction. Netanyahu skimmed past those slides quickly. He noted that changing a government is as simple as updating an organizational chart in Microsoft Word.
"I have executed several regime change scenarios in desktop publishing software," said Dr. Helene Vasquez-Thorne, Lead Researcher at the Center for Studies That Confirm What You Already Suspected. "It is mostly dragging text boxes around."
At press time, Netanyahu requested a laser pointer to demonstrate how quickly he could reorganize the entire Middle East.
