WASHINGTON—The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of all Sovereign Pride Hydropower Tunnels effective immediately. Government inspectors discovered that the infrastructure possesses a design defect that actively rejects external emergency assistance. The manufacturing flaw causes the system to experience severe administrative paralysis when exposed to foreign aid workers.
The Rescue Delay Hazard
According to the safety recall notice, the affected units failed to channel incoming global relief packages. Instead, the tunnels trapped hundreds of simulated citizens inside dark, watery corridors. "We observed a critical systemic failure," said Gordon Flense, Deputy Undersecretary for Things That Were Fine Before. "The product's pride-based filtration system blocked lifeboats. It prioritized bureaucratic sovereignty over lung capacity."
The recall affects all models constructed between 2015 and the present. These units are currently in use across mountainous terrains. Regulators urge operators to stop using the tunnels for nationalistic posturing immediately. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has offered to send replacement pumps. However, the system's firmware is currently rejecting the download.
Remedy and Replacement
