TAIPEI— The Consumer Orbital Safety Commission issued a urgent product recall notice today for the Taiwan satellite launcher Model 101-Beta. The agency urges all regional space programs and backyard hobbyists to stop using the device immediately. This safety action follows a series of non-nominal ascents that ended in adjacent cabbage patches.
Severe Kinetic Hazard Identified
According to the official Taiwan Space Agency filing, the affected units suffer from a major guidance misalignment. The booster system mistakenly identifies clouds as hostile obstacles. It then performs sharp evasive maneuvers directly back toward the launchpad. Consumers must not attempt to repair the Taiwan satellite launcher themselves. The commission warns that duct tape will not survive the thermosphere.
