FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Philadelphia garage-punk outfit Gripper today announced their highly anticipated debut album, Another Night Of Fun On Me. The band features members of Teenage Halloween and Latewaves. This release represents a new milestone in trebly, urgent rock 'n' roll. It also marks a historic marketing partnership. The Gripper debut album will launch alongside a global logistics campaign.
Synergy and Treble
"We are thrilled to leverage this sonic asset," said Marcus Bellweather, Senior VP of Playlist Emotional Intelligence at Spotify. "The Gripper debut album offers raw, unfiltered energy. This raw energy pairs perfectly with our new Q3 shipping partner, global industrial clamp manufacturer Gripper International. We expect high conversion rates among fans of raw garage punk."
The band recorded the album in a damp basement. However, the press release went through three corporate PR firms. Executives spent forty hours discussing the font size of the tracklist. They wanted to optimize the Gripper debut album for maximum retail impact.
A Statement From Experts
"This is a disaster for quiet neighborhoods," said Rusty Calhoun, retired stadium acoustician and founder of Dads Against Bass. "These boys have no bass. The treble hurts my teeth. If you play this album, your dog will run away. I am filing a formal complaint with the city of Philadelphia."
About Gripper
About Gripper: Founded in 2024, Gripper is a tax shelter disguised as a four-piece garage-punk band. The members do not know how to play their instruments. They met during a court-mandated community service detail. They currently owe $45,000 to a local studio. They plan to disband immediately after the record release to avoid federal audit.
