CUPERTINO, CA—Apple announced today that the highly anticipated AirPods Pro 3 will feature an advanced AI system designed to scream directly into the user's ears. The technology aims to block out the horrifying vacuum of absolute silence.
A Cure for Quiet
The tech giant revealed the feature ahead of the upcoming Amazon Prime Day shopping event. According to developers, the proprietary "Existential Dread Cancellation" technology uses machine learning. It monitors the user's heart rate. If the wearer begins to think about their life choices, the device instantly deploys high-volume digitized shrieking. The feature ensures total cognitive distraction.
"Our users told us that regular noise cancellation was not enough," said Apple hardware spokesperson Marcus Vance. "Silence allowed people to hear their own inner voice. That voice often asks difficult questions about their careers and relationships. The AirPods Pro 3 solve this by generating synthetic panic noises at 95 decibels."
Industry Reactions
Industry analysts praised the development as a major leap forward in consumer wellness. Tech enthusiasts have already noted deep discounts on older models on sites like The Verge as buyers prepare for the launch.
"We want to eliminate the gap between stimulation and reality," said Priya Vantablack, Chief Vibes Compliance Officer at TikTok. "If a user has to spend even three seconds waiting for a traffic light without audio input, we have failed them. The AirPods Pro 3 keep the brain in a state of constant, gentle emergency."
At press time, Apple engineers were working on a software patch to prevent the screaming from mimicking the user's deceased relatives.
