It also explores themes of slimy mollusks. Fans of Shearwater’s unique sound were reportedly baffled. The song is the latest single from the upcoming album, The New World. Melburg stated the song was a deeply personal exploration. He called it ‘a metaphor for the ephemeral nature of existence.’
