WASHINGTON—The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued an urgent recall on Wednesday for the Senate GOP data centers bill. Regulators found that the legislative package contains small, poorly constructed components. These pieces present a severe choking hazard to voters who try to swallow them before the midterms.
Dangerous Legislative Defects
The recall affects all units of the proposed United States Senate legislative draft. The agency warned that the data centers bill lacked necessary substance. This structural flaw causes the bill to collapse under light scrutiny. It then blocks the airway of anyone attempting to digest its promises of economic relief.
"We received multiple reports of citizens gagging on the bill's empty verbiage," said Marcus Bellweather, Senior VP of Playlist Emotional Intelligence at Spotify, who currently serves as acting deputy director of the federal safety agency. "The data centers bill simply lacks the structural integrity required for public consumption. We ordered an immediate halt to all distribution on the Senate floor."
Affected Units And Remedies
The recall targets approximately one hundred draft copies printed on standard printer paper. Democrats officially blocked the package on Tuesday afternoon to prevent further exposure. They cited a total lack of consumer protections within the policy's text. Regulators advise all congressional offices to return their copies of the data centers bill immediately to the nearest recycling bin.
"We designed this product to lower internet costs," said Senator Todd Husted, the chief architect of the legislative package. "It was supposed to be a smooth, easily digestible talking point for November. We did not anticipate that the public would choke on the sheer lack of details."
At press time, federal regulators advised voters to avoid inhaling any campaign materials until after the upcoming elections.
