WASHINGTON—The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued an urgent recall notice today for the latest 2024 model of the Trump endorsement. Regulators warn that the political product contains a critical manufacturing defect. This defect can cause sudden, catastrophic campaign failure when used in competitive Southern primaries.
Hazardous Endorsement Materials
According to the official recall notice, the defective units were distributed primarily throughout South Carolina. They currently affect the Senate runoff race between Sen. Darline Graham and Rep. Ralph Norman. Testing shows the endorsement emits high levels of volatile rhetoric. This rhetoric can unexpectedly alienate moderate voters without warning. Commission inspectors discovered the flaw during routine monitoring of Federal Election Commission filing data.
"We observed multiple instances of the product overheating," said Dr. Thaddeus Mbeki-Ransome, Chair of Applied Hype Studies at the Institute for Trending Phenomena. "When applied to Darline Graham, the Trump endorsement failed to bond with the local electorate. Instead, it produced a highly toxic cloud of negative attack ads that dissolved her double-digit lead in under forty-eight hours."
Affected Units And Immediate Remedy
The recall affects all verbal, digital, and Truth Social-based iterations of the Trump endorsement issued between May and June. Voters who have come into contact with the product should immediately wash their hands. They must also avoid looking directly at any bright red hats. The manufacturer has not yet offered a replacement policy. Instead, they blame the consumers for improper installation.
"We advise all South Carolina campaigns to return their units immediately," said Lucinda Okonkwo-Bright, Director of Forward-Looking Regret at Meta, who consulted on the safety warning.
